Always one of my favourites and the creator of the 'singjay' style, as well as having some of the most obscure, off-the-wall, often meaningless but always crucial lyrics, the man like Ripton Joseph Hilton was a true pioneer and is criminally overlooked by most. The original old dirty bastard - no father to his style whatsoever - is here seen owning centre stage at Reggae Sunsplash in '81. I'm not sure why most of the crowd and backstage crew look disengaged - to be honest if I wasn't just 4 at the time I'd have been up front shockin' out. Ladies and gentlemen...man like Eek-A-Mouse.
